I've been very interested about the possibilities of the iPhone and Ipod Touch since it's launch, and the announcement of the SDK opens up a whole load more possibilites for it too.
One thing I hope we see is home automation soltions. So, as a design excercise for myself I created an example design for a program that could do just that, to give me an idea of what kind of thing we could see in the future.
